Pure Pumpkin Patch is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday from Sept. 29 to Oct. 31. Pumpkins are priced by size, and volunteers will help deliver your purchases to your car.

Children's Museum of Houston

Monsters' Museum of Houston runs Oct. 12-31 for 3 weeks of trick-or-treating and hair-raising fun. Activities include daily trick-or-treat hunts, making Drippy Monsters appear or disappear, giving monsters feelings by mixing and matching features and expressions in Monster Mix Match, mastering the monster language by making shrieking monster calls, and taking a bite out of hydraulics by making moving clenching jaws at Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab. Also party with a DJ during Moe’s Monster Mash Bash on Oct. 31. trick-or-treating takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday to Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, and all day weekends and Halloween Day.
